
Bill Raffin was born in Beverly Hills, California. He has been the President of William Raffin Realty since its establishment in 1980 and has invested and specialized in land and commercial investment properties for over thirty-five years. During his career as a real estate principal and broker, Bill has been responsible for the sale and/or purchase of 1.2 billion dollars worth of land and real estate. He has maintained a home in Malibu, California for over thirty-five years, and owns a ranch near Palm Springs, California. He is the owner of the Raffin Executive Center, an oceanfront office building comprised of twelve luxury offices where he maintains one of his offices.
Bill graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Business and Finance from California State University at Northridge in 1970, and in addition has a Bachelors Degree in Metaphysics from the American National Institute of Metaphysical Science. He began his real estate career in 1976. He is a member of the Los Angeles World Affairs Council and continues to be an avid supporter of many environmental organizations, some of which include: The Orangutan Foundation, PETA, Defenders of Wildlife, American Wild Horse Association, Cousteau Society, Sea Shepherd and the Sierra Club. In 2008, he was the recipient of the Dolphin Award for outstanding achievement in the Malibu community and received a certification of special Congressional recognition for helping others. In 1998, he received the Longstanding Business Award from the City of Manhattan Beach. Bill has traveled extensively, covering all the world’s continents. He owns a full-blooded Andalusian whom he rides often, and he loves to pack in the mountains with his Alaskan Malamute, Kumo.
In June 2009, Bill was asked to be a board member of READ (Rural Education and Development), a global charity which encourages rural and impoverished communities to learn, build and prosper by helping to provide schools, libraries, and many other amenities. In 2006, this charity received the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation ‘s prestigious Access to Learning Award.
